I'm a parent at CAMHS. The new furniture smells terrible. My child is autistic and she gets a sensory hit as soon as we walk into the waiting room/ consulting room. The QR code on the posters for this survey doesn't work and there are no pens/ pencils for completing the paper version. Do you really want feedback?
I had excellent care from everyone you all do a wonderful job and the product of all your care has truly changed my life.
At 72 I was admitted to Salisbury hospital for the first time in my life on New Year's Day 2021 during the height of the Covid crisis. I had a fractured ankle and had never even had an operation before.
Throughout my 7 day stay I was shown highly professional support, care, and attention from every single member of the staff there. I thank the triage staff, the radiographers, the porters, the ward sisters, nurses and nursing assistants, the physios, the anaesthetists, all theatre staff, and above all my superb surgeon, Mr Harshad Dabke. I thank them all for all they did for me during a time when they were under such pressure due to covid.
For over 40 years my experience of Salisbury District Hospital has been exemplary care for me, and my family and friends when we have needed it. I have lived and worked in several other places in the UK and Salisbury continues to be spot on, every time!
The care from the staff is second to none and it is the staff which make the difference. Although quite often we are not in the position to thank them at the time, I’d like to thank them now and wish them all a bright future at SDH! ;)
I felt really safe from the dreaded covid 19 The care shown me could not have been bettered.
Courtesy, warmth and kindness from every member of staff I met, from reception to the ward and in theatre.
thank you all
It went to plan except the meter machines in car park opposite the main entrance were not working well
In all cases of receiving treatment at Salisbury I have always had excellent treatment. For me it’s an outstanding hospital staffed by excellent staff.
The hospital always seems to be well organised from admin staff through nursing staff.
I was impressed each time I've visited as a patient at how easy it is to find your way around & how quickly & efficiency I was seen
My mum had to be taken to A&E yesterday and was in total shock at what was happening after 40+ mins of entering the department and waiting. We heard her name being called excepting to go into the assessment room there was a member of staff calling us from reception. She said she was doing her triage questions. To my amazement this was done in full view of all the waiting patients in the department .there was no chair to sit on and my mum was feeling very unstable. I really do think someone should look into why this was going on. As this is not protecting the patients & breaking the personal data act, as some people do talk loudly and could hear all of the problems and information they were given to the lady at the counter.
I first 'visited' Salisbury Hospital (then called Odstock) some 40 years ago. I didn't have great memories of my time there then but my treatment and experience of Salisbury over the last 18 months has been nothing short of outstanding. The staff are all friendly with a real 'can do' attitude. If the press say the NHS is in crisis then they should take a look at Salisbury. The staff there are just getting on with it and doing a sterling job in the process.
